Dean Knapp is a NYC-based Actor and Writer. Dean first started acting in and around his hometown of Goshen, New York where he first started taking acting and improv classes. In college, Dean took classes at The Stella Adler Studio for Acting and HB Studio while he pursued his Bachelor’s degree at Pace University.
Dean has had the pleasure of working in theater for over five years with performances playing Lopakhin in The Cherry Orchard at Columbia University and the Magistrate in Lysistrata for AlphaNYCTheatre Company. Dean has also the pleasure of being a company member for Cornerstone Theatre Arts for the last three years, acting in eight different productions. Some of his favorite roles include playing C.S Lewis in Freud’s Last Session and playing Charlie Mason in Admissions.
When Dean isn’t acting, he enjoys cooking, writing poetry, and getting out of the city to enjoy the nature of the world.
